At Plain Rice Studios, sustainability is one of our guiding principles. We strive to collaborate with ethically-minded manufacturers and exclusively source our materials from eco-friendly companies (including our packaging!).

We cherish the significance of plain rice, a beloved staple in Asian cuisines, which beautifully reflects our artist's Asian heritage. Just as you can add your own unique flavours to plain rice, we see it as a metaphor for a blank canvas where we can incorporate our own creativity in every artwork and product design!

About the artist
Siobhan was encouraged to go to art school from a young age where she learnt traditional techniques. Today, she is a service designer by day, and a dancer + illustrator by night (and weekends!)
